Commissioned for the Jack Straw New Media Center Gallery, Seattle, WA
Four cast-paper mountains fill the space, each with its own embedded soundtrack of water sounds recorded on Cascade mountain slopes. Viewers can move through the space and stand inside the mountains to be transported to this distant location. The cast paper forms create a miniaturized landscape in the space, while the sound component is an immersive environment.
