RAIN GARDENS X PUBLIC ART
Rain Gardens X Public Art is an ongoing project with 4Culture and King County Water and Land Resources Division.
Vaughn is a rain garden artist-in-residence, learning about rain gardens and County programs to improve water quality. One outcome of the residency is a rain garden public art guide. With a combination of inspiration, big picture thinking, education, imagery, planting concepts and plant lists, the rain garden public guide helps property owners see what is possible within the King County Green Stormwater Infrastructure Incentive Program. In outlining overall concepts, the guide points to ways in which people will understand and steward the rain garden now and in the future. Check back for updates and the completed Rain Gardens X Public Art guide.
