In this interactive piece, participants follow a series of choices of words to "find their place." First offered a choice between urban, suburban and rural, the choices then become increasingly more subjective. Participants chose between options like "arid" and "humid" or between "quantity" (which leads them to the parking lot of a big box store) and "quality" (which leads them to a glitzy shopping plaza). In another menu they may choose between concepts like "stable" and "exhilarating." Each choice determines the next set of options. After making the series of choices, the viewer then comes to a video of their place- some are peaceful, some chaotic, some surprising, some humorous, some sad.
