Private
Land
Many urban dwellers do not own a piece of land in the
woods. Even if they do, it must be far from the city. In urban locations,
humans develop relationships to small gardens, rooftop planters, and
roadside planting strips.
Land
Adoptions
Cultivation Utility Actions presents a new opportunity for urban and
suburban dwellers to cultivate a relationship with a piece of land.
Through adoption, not purchase, they may become owners of a small
piece of land with plants growing in it. This land will be their responsibility
to tend, plant, and care for as they see fit.
Cultivation
Utility Vehicle (CUV)
Landscape Adoptions take place wherever the Cultivation Utility Vehicle
(CUV) travels through the city. This vehicle may be seen on the sidewalks,
full of land, with a green awning overhead. Those who wish to adopt
a piece of land will need to sign adoption forms stating their intent
and commitment to the care of the land.
